SYNOPSIS Frankie is an apathetically ignorant space alien on a quest of vanity. He shows no regard for each planets' inhabitants. No interest in each planets' environment. His only concern is sticking a flag that says 'FRANKIE RULEZ!!!' into each and every planet. Frankie eventually discovers a new strange planet that does not appreciate being poked with a flag. ABOUT THE DIRECTOR San was born in Englewood, New Jersey, however much of his childhood was spent scratching mosquito bites in Thailand and riding the bus in Singapore. Occasionally, he would write and draw comic books that would embarrassingly involve strange and very muscular men. In 2007, his student thesis film 'Big Shot', was selected as a Regional Finalist for the Student Academy Awards. His 2011 short film 'Frankie Rulez!!!' has been screened at a number of festivals, including Seattle International Film Festival and LES Film Festival. It won the Baton D'or at the Red Stick International Animation Festival and the City of Melzo prize at the International Melzo File Festival. In 2012, San directed the animated music video for Steve Aoki and Duran Duran-- "Hungry Like The Wolf: The New York Werewolf Mix". After 9 years in New York City, San is now based in Los Angeles. A 3D animator by day and short filmmaker by night, itching to create something fun and exciting. San focuses on 2 goals as a filmmaker: Be creative. Be entertaining.
